Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted April 29, 2009 Share Posted April 29, 2009 After deciding to remove my windscreen and have a go at spraying the surround black I was rather chuffed with the results ... and this is where the story goes bad !!! I have only gone and over tightened one of those little grub screws and created an 1" crack in the screen ... arggghhh ferk and lots of other expletives you know what they say, one step forward and two steps backwards Have any of you local chap got a windscreen, with or without surround in black or alloy finish that you would be prepared to part with for a nominal sum I guess there must be loads of these laying about in gargages gathering dust due to aero screen upgrades Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sailing Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 I just had my cracked screen replace by the local glazing firm. It is only laminated flat glass.
