Don't know if I'm doing the right thing as this does not need a cat/reverse etc, but need some space.

DJ ADS1 Single Seater - Hayabusa Engine (not included)

This is the car ian Chard got into the top 10 run off at national level several times and won national 1600cc class in 2001.

I have been refreshing the car ready to race this year, but due to family, time and so many other projects decided I won't be racing this year. I removed the 1400cc engine in the picture for my road westfield last week. All Engine mounts, pipes, baffled sump, drive spocket, TFI piggy back management, wiring loom will be included, so it really does just need engine/throttle bodies/ecu.

Features:-

Tig Welded space frame chassis with bonded and riveted aluminium panels

Inboard adjustable coil over shock absorbers operated by bellcranks and push rods

Lightweight Willwood brakes with drilled discs

Titan steering rack

Removable steering Wheel

ST700M Stack dash/Lap Timer (£700 from demon tweeks)

Adjustable pedal box

Quaiffe LSD Chain Diff (1 hillclimb sprocket,1 large track sprocket)

Eibach Springs

Alloy radiator

New braided aeroquip hoses

New silicone pipes througout

Under tray/Diffuser

Tech Line thermal barrier coated manifold/repackable exhaust

Jump battery remote socket

Baffled Sump and Oil Cooler

Larger Aluminium Fuel Tank

Facet fuel pump to swirl pot

Hayabusa fuel pump

12 Formula Renault 13" OZ Wheels (Rears all re powdercoated)

(8 Slicks, 4 Wets, 2 wheels need tyres fitting)

All wishbones etc have been shot blasted and re-powder coated

Body Work has just had respray

Large Carbon Fibre Bi plane rear wing (cost nearly £2000)

This really is an awesome car, and not many single seaters will fit a 6ft1 16 stone driver.

Looking for £8,500ono, All questions, please contact

Yep, they are good and very controllable unlike the rather twitchy Jedi and other short wheelbase single seater...  :xmas:

I've only managed to spin mine once when I got onto the kerb at Goodwood - I went backwards onto the infield at 90+ and had a cockpit full of grasscuttings when I got back to the paddock    :D

Car looks great, like the Aeon in the background too  :D

Good luck with the sale

Well you noticed the Aeon.

Still can't believe nobody has noticed how sad I was to colour match springs to the engine covers.

If it'd been me, I suspect that there would have been something other than grass cuttings in there............... :0  :0

I had to push a DJ back onto the tarmac at Harewood last year after a small gyration, but they do look the business.

Lovely car!

Out of interest, where did you get your trolley wheel holding tray things?  If you get my drift?  Been trying to find these everywhere!  Would they take the weight of a Westie?

Thanks!
