I wouldnt blame the owners, if, to avoid the raft of further possible claims from other money grabbing mother fu.... sorry neighbours they sold the site to lets say a builder and they put a massive housing estate there and because the council would be getting some 'affordable housing' planning would be granted without question....see if they like that.

I would have thought there was now a good case for Croft ownersto ask the local council for housing on the site, or better still how about a nice big Nightclub, open from 10pm to 6am no noise during the day for them then.

Maybe we could have the Croft festival !

i think what needs clarification is the actual events that can be run - obviously something has to go to stay within the 40 days and what is the actual noisy day meaning? is that race days with no restrictions or race days with restrictions? are any track days allowed?

as said pete - i am appalled and very saddened by this ridiculour decision which could of been averted - why didnt they erect noise barriers that worked??? why cant that be done even now?

if the circuit does close i will be up for some picketing outside the t***s house - i also think they should be written to to explain the implications of their selfish actions nice banner right outside the drive that they cant miss.. simply saying -

'greedy b*****ds... hope your barred from everything you want to go to - why? cos others can be selfish too   '

problem is it is real!! more to the point is there anything we can do to help resolve it? i would be up to help - because this could go much further afield - other circuits will be next.. using this as a landmark case
