RS WST Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm gauging the interest in having a batch of airboxes made up like below looking at various sizes to fit 2, 4, 5, 6 and even 8 cyl engines. Boxes are finished in GRP in a gloss finish or could be supplied in a textured matt black painted 2k finish (ABS plastic bumper look) Kits would include airbox and blank baseplate Price would be circa £200 per kit depending on number made Moulds and finish are A1 done by a local guy i know with over 30 years fibreglass experience Let me know if you are interested? Can this thread be stickyed? Cheers Austen Does not include trumpets
Matt Seabrook Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 If they look that good they should sell well.
Bananaman Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Looking good 'Charlie Brown'.............. Question is how's it go?
RS WST Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Looking good 'Charlie Brown'.............. Question is how's it go? What you mean andy? As for mould quality there alot better than the original types shown above with no ripples or dips My version 2 of the above must have had 20 hours on making it smooth

RS WST Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Once the moulds are done it should be a relatively cheap expense to do one in carbon, I hope
