PGB Posted October 18, 2008 Share Posted October 18, 2008 . . .but still a long way to go. Got a call today from my boy who had connected a few wires, splashed in some fuel and turned the key. After a few coughs and splutters, the Busa engine fired up and ran like a sweety. This is 5 years after we removed it from the donor bike. Wow! No silencer, so VERY loud and spitting fire (have phone video clip to prove it ) Still lots to do and no time to do it, but it's a big milestone in our very slow build.
