JeffC Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 have no idea of the weight of my kart we weighed both of Logs Prokarts but it escapes me what the weight was , if you trawl back through this thread all 91 pages it may be in there somewhere 180kg is the target and Dippy needed a load of ballast think was over 3 stone, he must only be around 10 stone though Log didnt need a lot but hes 13 stone did you say you were 12 or 14 stone the other day Quote
Pilot Pete Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 QUOTE how much lead have you added then Pierre, was your kart around 74kg It was 89K with those three lumps of church, plus the battery. Pete's dad. Quote
Ross Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 did you say you were 12 or 14 stone the other day Nearer 14 as muscle is heavier than fat Quote

Ross Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 What is the entry fee for tomorrow's race? Quote
Pilot Pete Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Have no idea? will find out tomorrow. Some footage from saturday: I'm fearing the ross mobile at tinside tomorrow actually! I think I might be getting some come-upance off everyone, might have to "lose" some ballast mid race! Quote
JeffC Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 dont quote me but i think its 30 dumps plus you will have to hire a transponder at a skydiver Quote
JeffC Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 check out the difference in pace getting out the corners when a lightweight gets in ross kart and heavy weight in yours I reckon Ross"s new found pace is down to the rocker replacement in one of the engines , I reckon it has been snapping for a while and the valves havnt been opening far enough getting worse and worse thats why it was off the pace at Teesside a few weeks ago, now that the log fixed it its off like fook Quote
JeffC Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 Let me be first to congratulate the race winner, well done Pete that was a deserving victory you did really well my driver of the day would go to you Had a cracking day pleased with my kart bogging down seems to have gone and over the moon with my boys performance setting Pole position and fastest lap of the day at 49.1 with the bus stop in just a shame he has inherited his fathers lack of ability to overtake Quote
boblog Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I Second that. Very well done, you are the master and deserve the respect as thatwas a fantastic, i do'nt think you were given enough credit at the awards, so Pilot Pete Take a Bow!!!! Not the best of performances by myself but I know I will get it. Very enjoyable day. Very well done to Dan too, hard for him to be lead kart but you could not knock that qualifying performance. Quote
Pilot Pete Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Cheers gents, I didn't expect that at all! I had a feeling I'd be in the top half of the field but not leading. Well done desperate dan for some pretty awsome lap times throughout the day and passing yer dad in the last race! Also, well done Ben on his 2nd place in the cadets, would have been a winner if it wasn't for the £60'000 budget in the 1st kart! Cheers bob for a spin in the biland, it really is something awesome! I couldn't drive it anyway! I also think you did really well today, especially the 1st session, I was massively impressed! Unfortunately we have failed a bit on the camera footage. Its zoomed in slightly so has come out a bit s***e! I am a bit gutted about that. Also, with crap light, the photo's havent come out too well either! Quote
Ross Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Yes very well done Pete Poor day as far as i am concerned Kart was off the pace all day First race was involved in a second corner crash that put me dead last with very soar ribs which still hurt now Second race didn't even finish the warm up lap due to blocked carb Third race gained a few positions and then could not overtake an under weight prokart The new found pace at warden law has disappeared Quote

I think we need to start learning about setup. Some piccies: Qualifying, two prokarts, myself, Mr C: The Grid for race 1, Dan on Pole, me in 3rd, Jeff in 5th. Ross Mobile: Bob in his biland: Me: Quote
Pilot Pete Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Ben leading the way: Mr C: Dan: The prokart that chased me home: Ben accepting his award: Idiots: Quote
