Seems heavy compared to our karts? At least he'll need less ballast, will be interesting to see how well the extended front hubs do. Was watching some on the bay but forgot about them. Quote
Pilot Pete Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 aye was suprised at the weight, tonikart chassis is qute substancial though and it has a battery too he needs over 40kg of ballast so think may struggle to weight him up to race with us junior wf is 145kg so this may be fair to get him to that weight and if the little gits still scran me will be fitting the full weight and a bit Dont see the point in getting up to full weight, might as well concentrate on running at the 145kg. Without my ballast I'm at about 146kg dry so could be some good crack, and if he scrans us, fair play to the lad! Might be worth me running without the ballast and try and get him to latch on, pretty sure his times would drop a load if he was following someone. And from doing a 49, I dont think there's a huge difference between a 51 and a 49. Question is though, will he scran my brother! Quote
