An Ode Too The Karters From The West(y)

We're all off to Tinside, to have a bit of fun,

Karts are at the ready, Waiting for the starting gun,

There's Copper in his World Form, And Ross in his pro kart,

The log has gone world form this week, cos his pro was flat as a fart,

Pilot Pete is ready to battle,This week he'll beat us all,

But little Mark is rattled and says the pilot's going to fall,

Then we do have Dippy Egg, who's going to call his mam

Cos' JC got excited and gave his prokart a ram,

We then have the captain, who'll photograph us all,

He will b in the right place, when off the track we fall,

Ryan and Dan have been instructed,you two must be quicker,

but the plan JC constructed, may not go without a flicker,

But by the end of the day, come the bragging rights,

Who had the fastest time,

And tomorow night I'll tell you and it to this ryme.

Well I never thought I'd see poetry in this thread.

But, I supposed why not, everything else is in it.

forecast according to itv is good for 2mrw, fookin sods law like when ive got both karts on a full wet set up    

The Log is picking me up at 8.15 so we can make the most of the first session,  

Kids are out playing due home 8.30 so im in the middle of writing up pace notes and full instruction for them, the boy has  been told to get a sub 55 second lap in my kart  or ive told him im not taking him again

looks like a few of us have changed our oil, me for the first time since having the kart.

speaking to Bob at prosport the other day it is absolute essential to put the correct amount of oil in the engine 600 ml

I let mine drain for about 40 mins then used a measuring jug out the cupboard (don't tell Ali) to put the exact 600ml of oil back in

if you use 50ml less the kart will be a tad quicker due to less resistance inside the engine but Bob reckons about 2 races will kill the engine running like this

Jeff he could always have a go in my Kart now it's set up for a smaller chap  

and my brakes may be more to his liking as they don't try and chuck you off track when you press them

Well, the poetry has gone to me head, here goes:

And away they go with a ho ho ho

Pete’s bringing up the rear, coz he’s too damn slow,

Out in front is the dippy egg,

How can you tell? There’s a soldier in his head,

Next in line is an old sea dog,

Its captain birdseye, sailing through the fog,

Who’s that next spinning like top?

Its bob the log, he must have come a crop.

Who’s behind to take his place?

Its Evo Mark with a grin upon his face.

With-in inch’s of marks rear wheels,

Is pro kart Ross who’s kicking at the heels.

But where’s jeff cooper, quiet as a mouse?

Oh that’s right he’s at slippy’s house.
