Ribs are fine now that i have a rib protector although bottom of my back is sore as the chicane was out near the bus shelter so the hump were like take off ramps at the braking point.

It was going round that corner the engine suddenly died and would not start again then took the cam belt cover off and their it was  :down:

The annoying bit is i have a new cam belt i just didn't have time to put it on yesterday :arse:

Hugely unlucky ross! :(

Is the biland an interferance engine? Can you just stick a new belt on and away you go?

friend of mine puts duck tape apound the bottem of cam belt cover to seal it, cause they are bad for getting chippins in which blows the belt

I have the receipt from Saxon motorsport from when the last time the cam belt snapped and i can tell you it doesn't read very good  :down: .

The other problem is that it is a sealed engine so other then looking down the exhaust port to see if the valve are bent i will have to break the seal which makes the kart ineligible for races  :down: .

So it looks as though it will have to go to Saxon motorsport regardless.

Eddy stick me £620 bid  on the prokart can you.. I fear it selling for £380 :down:

Ross, just spoken to Pete, he said you can do the engine yourself as you are not MSA racing and if it needs parts they are not exspensive, just shout if you need any help.

Ross, can you not stick your new belt on and turn it over to see what happens?

Thanks for all the help and advice i will have a look at the weekend see what i can do!
