JeffC Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 well the junior coopers , dippy , log and logs bro for starters I think Warden Law will be looking more attractive to us for practice if the prices stay high at Tinside, now ive got used to w/law I quite like the circuit, grip is less so tyre wear is less, cheaper and track is more technical , downside is the kerbs Quote
Guest Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 remember kids karting is dangerous ...... testing today and its first round of the winter champs ..... now testing is supposed to be that and to make it a little safer its not a free for all ,its sessioned . seniors 3rd session , into the fasters corner on the circuit a 75mph flat right , some bubble carrying a couple of Mph more desides to stick one down the non existant inside (half a kart widths worth) fireing me into the tyre wall so hard i bounce along it spinning and back in again ..... another bent stub axle , bent steering colum , wrecked side pods , rear bumper , and a very sore leg ankle and chest ... think i bent the colum with my chest , thank heavens for a p1 rib protector ... heaviest shunt in a kart in over 25 years karting , and on a b****y test day , on a race day i would have been miffed but put it down to a chance move .... anyway mechanic got it straigtened and back together and i grimaced through the last session to go the fastest of the day for me , fresh rubber on and we will see what tomorrow brings . if i am not too sore in the morning.
