Young logs best was in the 1:42's. My best 1:46. if you were doing 1:08's in the dry i'm well chuffed it was raining. No way i had a full 38 secs a lap to take off in the dry.

Look forward to seeing some of the piccys

Finished a respectable 7th (Kart 10) given my last but one position on the starting grid. Junior (Kart 9) finishing 5th and would possibly have predicted finishing higher if his car had not given up the ghost and had to be replaced.

First time karting in the damp - jesus - thank god it was not like that in the tin-top on the way back.  Scott's attack at that hairpin on the last lap in an attempt to pass me was ambitious to say the least - watching Scott slide as if on ice was typical no doubt of what others had experienced at this location.

Good night had by all -thanks to Jeff C for organising.

I blame Andrew who did a sympathy spin next to my beached kart :D

Well done to the nine who finished ahead of me!      :D  :D  Was loads of fun sliding the kart, but I'm with Jeff on the duff kart excuse, there was no way on this earth my kart would go 10 sec a lap quicker last night..

Petros, next time we pic-nic on the grass together, fetch a decent bottle of wine!  ;)  ;)      :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :D
