This car was built by me in 2005 and passed the SVA test first time in September. It was then registered new on a 55 plate. Since then it has covered less than 8,000 miles. In December 2006 a Ford Exchange engine was installed as the original was too damaged following a broken thermostat housing; a common problem with Zetecs in Westfields. Shortly after this a Raceline Water Rail was fitted to avoid a similar problem. Early in 2008 the car was fitted with a complete new body by Westfield following a minor accident which cracked the rear bodywork. A V8 style bonnet was also fitted at this time. In June 2008 the ECU was re-mapped by Northampton Motorsport and the engine now produces 154bhp. To buy the equivalent kit today from Westfield would cost over £18,000. KerryS Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Nice looking car there. Yours follws a similar story to mine regarding using NMS and re-bodying after minor damage, except I did the rebody myself. I hope you get what you want for the car
