For anyone that's concerned that scruffy may have got the bodywork horribly wrong, don't worry, it's supposed to look like that, it's not a Westfield. It's a Dutton or something.

Seriously though, looks promising Mr R! Confident?

5 days to go.

I think we need an update.

Its all finished.....

....Except......

Mount nosecone scoop, paint nosecone scoop,  replace sheared bleed nipple and then bleed brakes, change wishbone, geometry, fit interior, fit bonnet, finish gluing cycle wings, fit carbon bits, nosecone and bonnet mesh, fit wipers (better than last years lemans), fit tonneau, fit boot box.  Fit front number plate, take front number plate off and stuff in passenger footwell, make rubber mats, get a full compliment of relays (currently can either have the engine or headlights).  Put 500 miles on it, buy camping gear, deliver camping gear, fix whatever breaks.......

Just need new tyres (thursday) and a quick wash n wax and I'm ready

That actually doesn't sound too bad.

I have a roll of rubber matting if you want - ordered too much.

I also have camping gear, including a bus, but I reckon you won't need it :)

Posted
Sam, if I could pinch the rubber matting and a car cover that would be a real help, I'll give you a ring.

Hmmm, a heavily whining engine might be a bit of a problem....

Hope you get it sorted after the effort you put in Hugh,be a shame to stumble now when you`re so close.

Graham.
