cast iron
C] Liverpool MC for a well organised event, had our doubts when we saw who was doing the timing but it panned out ok in the end. How many times did the timing gear fail Otherwise a superbly organised event. no wonder entries fill quickly Top Westfield results John loudon was in a class of his own I was pretty impressed with andreas time improvements, thought she had got stuck in a groove, then managed to knock off 2 seconds a run

a4gom
What I want to know is, re. this, how fast did Mr. Hargreaves go. "nunney" indeed! Well Peter, I have to say run for run you did better than me, it was a baking hot day last year though. I never felt confident I could really lean on the tyres, another dry run and I think I would have pipped you. On my last and fastest run I had rain on my visor so I'm putting a (w) on the end! Guest
What was looking like a Bad day after the first practice, when the DJ broke, turned into a great day, when Paul Eden very kindly allowed me to double drive with him. Great to be back in a westie again. So BIG THANKS to Paul. My pleasure Nick - glad you were able to enjoy the day. Useful advice on the cars set-up too! Hope the repairs go well - looking forward to seeing your gusset!

Because of the music though, next time, you need to jump off a fire escape, onto a brick wall and into your car for the start. A la Starsky and Hutch. NeilM
Well done Peter! A very enjoyable and eventful first SS outing for me. Many thanks to Mark Leybourne for the hints and tips while walking the course. Special thanks to Nick Algar and Gom for providing a replacement timing strut after mine broke off in practice. Obviously I had designed mine for lightness, not durability
