studbuckle Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 I was surprised to find that nobody has asked about a Coast2Coast on here yet this year. Well, to pre-empt any questions I can confirm that there WILL NOT be a Coast2Coast in 2008. We the organisers have decided that we need a fresh challenge and as the results of the survey we sent out were interesting but inconclusive we have decide to work on a brand new event. Currently the plan is for this to run in early August to a very similar format to the Coast2Coast but using a totally new route. We have found a hotel, we have drafted the route and we have got the backing of the club. We have also drafted in some additional bodies to assist us in the organisation.
