JeffC Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 right everyone, am going to be organising a karting session, I need to know from you if you want to do it on a night or weekend, can you post or email your preference and will organiise around the majority. also where do you want to go either warden law or Tesside your choice I will go to either dates I thinking of early November but will ring for availabilty when we got sorted and book accordingly. thanks in advance all areas welcome but no karting gods Quote
Andrew Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Not bothered, warden law or Teesside, indoor even? Weekday would (for me ) be dependant on what shift I'm working. Free most weekends though. Thought you said you were a karting god now.. Quote
JeffC Posted October 14, 2007 Author Posted October 14, 2007 Thought you said you were a karting god now.. I believe Pete has that title doesnt he judging on past events Quote
Pilot Pete Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 I believe Pete has that title doesnt he judging on past events Kart depending! To be fair, when I've won I've had a decent kart, makes all the difference, unless I'm against work mates who are crap. Quote
evo-mark Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 weekend me thinks , as me and cap are on different shifts so one of us may miss out . agree with Pilot all Karts are not equal . i've done 5 or 6 Karting days with usually 20 Karts racing on the grid the time i won it as teeeeesside my Kart felt awsome but normally i'm about 5th or 6th Quote
oioi Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 midweek for me please and teesside, defo not indoor Personally think there is less variability between karts at teeside - warden law is 2seconds between karts last time i was there. Quote
westfield_bumble Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 mid week better for me. Just arrange a date and i'll see if i can make it Quote
Ross Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Weekends are better for me as i normally work late. Would it be the long track at teeside ? Either way i have no preference Ross Quote
Pilot Pete Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Weekends are better for me as i normally work late. Would it be the long track at teeside ? Either way i have no preference Ross Long track at teeside is £100 extra on top of the booking, so if we get 20 karts, a fiver extra, definitely worth it!!! Quote
petrolhead Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Let me know whats decided and i will pop down a take photos Quote
JeffC Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Right eh oh chaps . judging from Pms and posts weekend is looking favourite. Ive provisionally booked Saturday 3rd november at Teesside price is 45 notes per person with a minimum of 8 drivers which Ive filled allready. I said I would give them a definate answer in the next few days but for me and a few people Ive spoke to its a go-er we need to be there for 5.30 for a 6.00 start. thought we could go to a local pub for a drink afterwards.
