mikepacitti Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 This might be a stupid question, but, will this release bearing work with the XE standard clutch pressure plate and a changed friction plate (the one that I will be using comes from a 2.3 sierra)? Nick P Posted September 11, 2007 Author Share Posted September 11, 2007 Yeah you use the standard flywheel and cover plate, so yes it will work with your setup. When I was building my car I was told by a few people that the sierra plate will struggle if your using more than standard power, I use one of SBD's plates, uses the same cover plate and flywheel though.
