We could either meet as usual at midday at the Bird in Hand, Knowl Hill, Twyford or meet up earlier as 9.45 and head down to the Pistonheads Virginia Waters meeting. (Details here.) It looks as though it'll be a warm and sunny day, so a good excuse to get your westy out. PLease post your preferences. As some of you may know I have sold my westy and bought an Elise. I need therefore to find a new AO for the area. Any volunteers? Quote

Those who wish to go to the VW meet can meet up at 9.45 at the Bird (or perhaps somewhere else if it's just SKooby and me) ready to head off at 10, and those who just want a chat and a pint (or are too tight to pay the VW parking fee ) can meet up at the Bird as usual. Yep, the Westy drive off into the sunset last Thursday, though I may see it still at a few track days, as the new owners (a father and two sons) plan to use it as a track day car. The car park's 4 quid if I remember correctly. Quote
