Have your input to Westfield product development

I've said before, feedback only ever seems to go one way with Westfield - and that's from the customer to Westfield. It would be really nice to receive a flyer or an email or even a thread on WSCC promoting a new product, or a 'coming soon' or anything that established customers may be interested in.

I'd say at least 10 people in this thread alone have expressed an interest in carbon fibre products for example - yet not one reply from the factory saying either a "yes we're going to do it" / "Not a chance" or "We're considering it".

It seems to me that Westfield are "stretched" on the communication front.  E-mail would be best for me in terms of convenience and I don't understand why they find it so difficult (Judy Dyson is the exception).

I'm ending up visiting the factory to get what I need for anything other than the straight-forward stuff.  :(  :(

Have to say that once you are there asking questions the response is excellent.  :)  :)  but must be inefficient from a business point of view.

Its called market research  ;)  ;) Most companies (whatever product) pay thousands to market research companies to provide such information - whereas with products such as Westfields that have an enthusiastic and passionate customer base, offering their opinions and advice so freely and publicly, given that it is easy to post a Q here and take on board ideas and suggestions and often a plethora of PM's and direct e-mails, that aren't public.

Then allow time to pass and memories to fade before new product launches.

The new WSC Ltd management have so far attended various area club meets, shows and presentations outlining their direction and proposals whilst endeavouring to work with club members - this all takes time and something that needs to be developed fully in a considered and professional manner rather than quick fix "knee jerk" reactionary solutions.  :)

I don't wish to sound cynical in any manner - it's simply the way it is  :D  :D  :)

Will there be feedback ??? dunno maybe, maybe not - will it stop you enjoying the product ???
