budge Posted April 18, 2007 Share Posted April 18, 2007 My 2001 speedsport has a Longlife silencer fitter which is very noisy and does not have a Cat Converter fitted. I have an impending MOT coming up so looking for a cheap replacement silencer with sports Cat fitted and which is reasonably quiet. Will have the current one for sale. budge Posted April 18, 2007 Author Share Posted April 18, 2007 The car is 2001 factory built and would have been supplied with Cat. I currently live in Dublin and soon to move to Cork so will have to drive over the border for an MOT, don,t have time or want hassle to risk failure due to emissions. Thanks for the tips but i don,t have a cat in the first place, current one is 5" diameter 24" length non cat guuaranteed for life and just seems incredibly noisy so want to replce it with another one anyway.
