V8grunt Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 Big thank you to Jeff Oakley and Geelohed. These guys Know there cars! Their are Over 40 vehicles hidden in the quiz, the first one to find 40 can post the answers. O another "Hidden LGV" in this post that is in the quiz as well. Quote
V8grunt Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 I would like to take this opportunity to thank all posters for there avid attention and cooperation in this post. I think the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off! Quote
jeff oakley Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Well I for one have enjoyed it so far and thank you for taking the time. I still cannot find 40 so am still looking. As for the support from others, well it never ceases to amaze me how certain banal threads can go to hundreds of posts, The three word never ending story for example, and yet other far more interesting items end after one or two. Pperhaps if it had been in the magazine with a prize the response may have been better, but don't let it put you off for the future. Jeff Quote
V8grunt Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 Big thank you to ALL who had a go! ( How do you spell Apathy?) The total number of "Hidden" vehicles is ... .... .... .... ..... ...... ...... ...... 46. ( YES Forty six ) Post going on soon with ALL the vehicles. V8grunt Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 TA! TA! (Trumpet sound) And for the perceptive a car made in India, and in the quiz! Here are the "Hidden cars in order as they appear in the Letter. The deliberate mistake was that Fred went on Holiday... Not Ray as at the bottom of the letter! First paragraph, Daf ford lada audi ima wedge fiat weekend dennis nissan favourite. Second, seat sunny capri bluebird tata thema rover. Third, fso one, Fourth, guy micra nsu ( tried to fit "w**kEL" in but the quiz is for kids aswell!) morris proton theta rangerover holden ace bug bugatti opel stingray, Fifth, caterham atos cob cobra, and one of the hardest in my opinion the last letter of the fifth paragraph... h continued in to paragraph six, Sixth, And the first 4 letters onda = honda west, seventh, (west, from paragraph six) = westfield, wartburg hillman mini lotus talbot. Now I Know some one out there will have found one I have not listed, If it's anything like "Theta" (thank you Geelhoed) please post it up. I hope you have appreciated my efforts, If the Quiz went over your heads then I suggest the following, ... ... .... Dont post! Quote
