Phil. S Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Amazing what you can do with a mecano set. There's no excuse for making ugly cars. Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 'Ugly' is far too small a word. Quote
Gazza Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 ...when will kit-car manufacturers stop using school children to do the styling? Surely its worth spending a few grand to get a professional on the job, I'd have thought. or is it April already? etc etc ... Quote
cast iron Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Saw it at the autosport show, yep its still dam ugly. Its a shame because GTM make a nice car wit the Libra etc. Quote
MVS Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Have to say it was top of the class in 'Ugly School' It would certainly stop me from being interested, regardless of the quality of the engineering. underneath. It's like saying the engineering under a Hummer is amazing, the thing is still bug ugly. Comparing this to the KTM offering, which is a bit awkward. OK it isn't a kit. I know where my p/x would be parked. Quote
Asterix Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 it's in the same category as mopeds and fat birds Quote
Liam Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Seems to have a chocolate teap ot for a roll cage Quote
Asterix Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Seems to have a chocolate teap ot for a roll cage indeed, don't you just love the way it will save your necks only if it lands on the pointy bit and then stays there. Can see worried driver and passenger wondering who'll get the slow-mo compression fractures (or worse). It's not the prototype for the world's largest scholl slip-on, is it? Quote
StuartMackay Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Looks like the front end has been stolen from a JCB and painted silver and anthracite. Quote
DavidC Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Are those big aluminium curved sections even structural? If you remove them (as they don't appear to be part of the chassis) the car underneath looks like an OK monocoque ready to have a decent GRP body dropped on top. Quote
V8grunt Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Is it me...... or can I see a resemblance to Sydney opera house? Quote
JeffC Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 isnt that what homer designed for Uncy Herb which eventually put him out of business Quote
Bananaman Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Must have a VERY good personality as it looks 'kin awful................... Quote
