scott beeland Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 What a weekend Great run down on Saturday with the Mad Manc Mafia My 1st time driving over the cat n fiddle (No I don't know how I've never done it before either!! ) Huge turnout of Westfields (Especially Sunday) Wall to wall sunshine Great beer n banter on Sat night "PROPER" competetive racing from the 750 m.c And a decent drive home too (Wet cat n fiddle ). Massive thanks to Gary Bunn and team for sorting the event out A TOP weekend only marred by Perksys Injury (hope you get better soon mate) and the news about Kims crash at Cadwell (Get well soon Kim!) WHAT A CLUB Quote
j30fos Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 totally KNACK3RD when I got home but a great day Quote
kik1.6se Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 My 1st time driving over the cat n fiddle (No I don't know how I've never done it before either!! ) I'm sorry your second run across the cat and fiddle wasn't the full road, as I decided to go down the short cut, I didn't fancy doing the cat and fiddle in the fog . The show was good, as usuall the wscc was the highlight. Kirk Quote
pistonbroke Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Did Mike get home OK with the smokin cossy Quote
Karl Woolf Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Last I heard was Mike calling for recovery truck Hope he got back okay. Good day out, thanks to Marcus Mayhem for the lift and living upto his reputation. Enjoyed the day, don`t know about the show, it was okay, but the WSCC get together made it for me . Oh and the grey coloured mini cooper, excellent, did anyone get any pics, total class. Original car with roof rack complete with picnic basket, lots of detailing like tape real music player open picnic basket on the seat, original 60`s interior. But with a honda type R under the bonnet, Classic, that is what its all about Karl Quote
pistonbroke Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Followed Mike a short distance down the A50 , but couldnt see and was choking from the smoke screen definate contravention of the health and safety regs Hope there aint no permanent damage done Fitted me blingy engine bits now , got at least another 20 bhp Quote
alan dixon Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I stopped along with Kirk and Peter, with Mike on the A50, he got a tow truck sorted then I left, as it was getting on, time wise, I went up the M6, home in time for tea and tiffin. Edited to say , Mike had to wait 2.5 hrs for his recovery Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 We sort of went wrong at the A50/A515 roundabout and thought you had passed us as we were sorting ourselves out, then we were stuck for ages behind some hay lorries, then we pressed on hoping to catch up but obviously we couldnt cos you were behind us we also stopped a couple of times for regroups, all the time thinking you were getting further and further in front I hope you didnt damage the engine Mike and get it fixed soon Quote
Glen H Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Yep I also thought you went 'right' when we went 'wrong' Hope alls o.k Mike Was fun watching those BEC's with no reverse return to the correct route Thanks Hurdsey and Tony for the passenger rides. Quote
