combatsapph Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 Hey all Just fitted my steering column to my SDV after grinding off the ignition barrel and steering columm lock. As I'm going to be fitting an electronic immobiliser and a push button start coupled with a keyed ignition switch in the dashboard, does this satisfy the "Anti theft device" for the SVA? I'm hoping I haven't made a mistake removing the column lock ( a bit of a mute point really as it was broken anyway). Regards, Rob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
adhawkins Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 I think SVA usually require two 'security' devices. Usually this is the ignition key and steering lock.
