Simon Furbank
At last I am getting towards the end of my build and now require wheels/tyres. Before I part with money could a few of you good people give me some confidence that I have come up with the right sizes. I know it's been done to death and I'm now boggle eyed from reading the threads. My car is ...... 1999 SEIW chassis. 2003 fixed arch ZK bodywork. Cortina front hubs. Westfield supplied rear hubs fitted to Sierra shafts. My proposed wheel spec. is..... 195/50/15 6.5 rim with PCD108 and ET35. This looks pretty boring and bog standard but I only want to buy once. I think I will probably have to fit spacers to the rear but I want them all the same so I can rotate (the wheels, that is ) as I please. If anyone has fixed arches on 2003 body perhaps you could let me know what you are using. Thanks in advance for any help.
Gromit
I have a fixed arch body on a 2004 chassis (long story!) and I used to have 7x15 wheels with a ET38 fitment and 195/50x15 tyres (did have 205`s at one time). I had a 3mm spacer on the front hubs and a 20mm spacer on the rears, never had a problem with clearance but now have swapped to 13" wheels and tyres.
