Liam Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 . I'm thinking North Devon, Cornwall etc where the worst injury you'll see is when someone cuts off a limb in a Combine Harvester . I have every sympathy for NHS staff, I know quite a few and they all tell the same story of neglect, wastage, underfunding and mis- management arising from political interferrance It's all that much more worrying when your son decides that the only job he wants to do is to be a paramedic. He's absolutely lapping it up at the moment but I hope his aspirations are not dashed. Devon isn't necessarily all retired bank managers by the way. That's where he is based and you still get the dross not to mention people hurling themselves recklessly into the delightful scenery and, of course, farm machinery. Quote
