Loved my job down south.

Moved back up north and hated it.

But the housing is better/quality of life when not at wk is better.

What about the private sector - bupa ?

Pivate sector moves me away from all the trauma etc...Oh and there isn't any Intensive care in private sector.

Still looking into the lorry driving.

Building trade interests me zero

Or a dentist, never seen a poor dentist !

I have every sympathy for NHS staff, I know quite a few and they all tell the same story of neglect,  wastage, underfunding and mis- management arising from political interferrance

It's all that much more worrying when your son decides that the only job he wants to do is to be a paramedic. He's absolutely lapping it up at the moment but I hope his aspirations are not dashed.

Devon isn't necessarily all retired bank managers by the way. That's where he is based and you still get the dross not to mention people hurling themselves recklessly into the delightful scenery and, of course, farm machinery.
