adamnreeves
Thinking about installing my fuel lines underneath the car as per the construction manual. I see that most people have installed the brake line centrally under the floor. I have installed mine just 11cms from the edge of the car, thinking I want to position as far away from the exhaust as possible. Now, comming to install the fuel lines (injection) I can see most people , if not all, have them runnning to the right (viewed from the rear) of the brake line. I am thinking though that I want run to the left of the brake line and this way the rubber fuel line will not need to cross over the brake line at the rear. This means at the front, the fuel lines will be closer to the inside floor chasis cross member, providing another place to tie. adamnreeves
Ah, I can answer this myself now. Once I formed the bends in the fuel line and offered up I can see that the length of fuel line on the rear baulkhead reaches higher than I expected and would reach the brake line on the cross member, so the fuel lines have to be installed on the right hand side edge.
