Height from rear floor to ground is now 160mm,but this is with the spring platform wound down giving about 3/4" play in springs on full droop.Just been for a 10 mile drive car feels alot better. Now i got to sort out this free play issue.Blatman thanks for the info.

Right, I've been measuring up. Before I mess up again does this all sound right.

At a ride height of 160mm (about 6 1/4 inches) the distance between the mount points is 11.5 inches. I was not too sure about how much droop I wanted, so as a previous thread mentioned I measured full droop. Which is 15 inches. So, allowing room for bump 'n' droop does 13 inches sound right to people?

then how about these then? :D:p

Seriously though, as I say in that thread the range of the 13" protechs is about 3". So 13" shocks would give you 1.5" droop and 1.5" bump. That sounds ok to me. However, if you want to go to 12.5" (note protech 12.5" shocks are actually 12 3/8") that would give you just under 1" droop and 2" bump. I have heard varying arguments as to how to split the bump/droop ranges but I suspect either would be fine.
