nlash Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Does it have to be a westfield? Sorry Hugh, it does. There is a reason for this that I won't go into at the moment. Glad you got your oil pressure sorted, and the car finished Nige Quote
scruffythefirst Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Sorry Hugh, it does. b******* Need a experienced camera assistant? used to be my job Quote
Martin Keene Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 And I'm polishing mine right now What about the car... Quote
nlash Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Went and did some work at the studio today, to get a feel for the place. Did a couple of hours with Janine and she's keen to have a look at your car, maybe get a couple of shots with it towards the end of the shoot with Hayley. Anyway, here's one from today... Quote
nikpro Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Sorry, back on topic - that is the nicest colour scheme I've seen on a Westie; but I'm biased cause I love the Gulf colours on the GT40's! Quote
Steve R Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Sorry, what was the original topic??!! Cheers for the comments, looking forward to Nigel getting some decent pictures of it. Will have to clear all those pesky models out of the way to get some decent shots of the car by the sounds of things! Quote
Martin Keene Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Sorry, what was the original topic??!! Not a clue! Quote
slippy Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Ssssssssssssssss.............................nazzy looking motor Got any close up pics of the boot box cover this is 3rd one but yours 'looks' like it's in one piece ? Boot cover is a bit sub-standard on yours isnt it... had to trim it when the cage was fitted and I never got round to replacing it with a carbon one from Fluke... Only thing that is though Al On my previous motor we used some 'carbon effect' sheet from Nick Algars company and it looked the part all be it probably not as light as the real deal but how much is said sheet from Fluke ? and how much lighter is it ? Plan is to use some Dzuse fasteners to make access to the diff/shocks etc easier Quote

I agree; Better to have just pics of the car - to Max Power for me with girls drapped all over them. If you want to look at naked women buy a W*nk Mag! Quote
Steve R Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Slippy, going back to the boot cover, this is the panel I bought here. Not sure about weight. I would offer to take it off and weigh it for you but it's an absolute pig to remove if you do it all in one piece - roll bar backstays off and seatbelts unbolted before you can remove it! If you're not bothered about doing it all in one piece then having a two-piece boot cover and dzuz fasteners would be much more practical if you are wanting to get access in the rear very often. The benefit of the honeycomb panel is that it is extremely rigid and doesn't flap about at all at speed like some ali ones I have seen. Steve. Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Nige, Did you mean Hayley or Holly? John Quote
Steve R Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Ah so that's what you meant when you said Westfield were unveiling a 'new model'.... Quote

You need to get a heater for that studio. Her legs look a little cold to me... Quote
