Gavin Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I found a pair of suede race style trainers similar to the addidas Monaco for £15 at (dare I say it) Matalan. Ideal for the Westy without spending huge amounts on race boots that you won't wear that often. I struggle with normal trainers with my size 12s Quote

Richgm Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Do a search on ebay for addidas monza or monaco. they are racing "style" boots. or try addidas tuscany Quote
matthew h Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I find the problem with racing boots is you need the talent to back them up. If I see someone with them on for a trackday or karting I expect them to be fast and if they are not - they are down as all the gear no f@@king idea. Note - I have all the gear for road & mountain bikes and am unable to go up hills without looking dead (proof was available at coed y brennin this w.end) Quote
Stuart Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Converse baseball boots. Reasonably thin sole, flat heel and narrow with no sticky out bits. Quote
