KerryS
I wonder how much the Standard sumps will fetch on Ebay? I sold my standard sump through Parts for sale on here - I don't do ebay. If the purchaser wants to say how much he paid he can do. Kerry
Chasmon
Thought it was a WF Zetec jobby? Sorry to jump the gun fella Only kidding I enquired and its a standard silver top one from a W/F built car.
Mark19800_0
right I'm either really thick or confused Is it the WF Cast Alloy job or Ford 1800 std sump (which I already have) sorry
Chasmon
Better ask him yourself The impression I was given was that W/F supply their cars with a std 1800 sump. I am occasionally wrong though
Mark19800_0
No Chasmon you are correct! Wouldn't you expect WF to supply their cars with a WF sump for ground clearence My dad has used a Raceline one on his Cateringvan and I still cringe when going over speed bumps. I actually hit one with it once, didn't damage it but did make a scraping noise (don't tell him)
Chasmon
I'm sending mine to scholar this week. May be of interest to someone Tiger do a cast one for around £230 they also modify the pickup by not only shortening it but increasing the pickup area...
