Of course this often means you can use a smaller one and get the same strength as a larger non-NAS bolt, hence saving weight that way. barney Posted April 4, 2006 Share Posted April 4, 2006 if you look at Autosport Bearings they do nas bolts and k loc nuts and for the quantities involved arent that expensive(£3.63 each approx).ive gone down to 3/8 from 7/16 bolts with top hat washers so saving a little weight overall but stronger bolts than commercial spec for their size , theres no big weight loss just lots of small ones...
