Can I fix that? All of Mr H's images have the .jpeg extension and don't display.

It'll be the Norton firewall, rather than the browser I reckon...

Nope, works fine in IE, I have this aswell. I'd guess at wrong MIME type config on the web server.

Avatars open OK in my version of Firefox... ???

All I did was download it and install the latest plug ins. I haven't done anything else...

It's not the .jpeg extension actually, just coincidence that the first ones I checked were that way extended.   Mr B's doesn't show and it's a .jpg...

@Blatters - what about when you right click the avatar and click 'view image' ?

I'm on Firefox here and all images display fine for me. Is it just this site, or any site with JPEG images?

Yep, same here, been on Firefox for ages with no problems.

I'm on firefox, stuff embeded in the page is fine.  The larger pictures that I try and display on their own come up as gobledygook

I get a load of code, not a picture...

Yep, I also get a load of code ???    But this only applies to JPEG images that are hosted on gentley hosting. Other JPG images hosted elsewhere load up fine. My avatar for exampe.  Weird??!

Can you post the first 10 or 15 lines of this (or e-mail it to me? ???)

:t-up:

It could be I'm not sending the right MIME type for certain browsers. I currently send whatever type was passed to me when it was uploaded. This will be one of the following:

image/pjpeg

image/jpeg

image/pjpg

image/jpg
