Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 to the fact they still haven't neatened up the suspension area, worst looking part of the car imo. Needs to be tidied up ala the Caterham solution. Needs to look less 'cheap/kitcaresque' and more thought out rather than just a big cut gap. They have done it in the past, as I understand it, it was only available on factory builds. Not sure when or precisely why they dropped it though. Quote
Mark Stanton Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Seems to be a "marmite" situation on the styling - you either love it or hate it I like the rear design myself - but not the front end with the cut outs and scoops and one piece bonnet Although - when first done on the FW400 in black and grey colour option - I thought it was the dogs nads (and still do) Quote
Al Yupright Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I spose that is the beauty of it... if you like the rear section but not the front, buy just the main tub.... if you like the front but not the ar$e end, buy just the bonnet/nose section. Quote
oioi Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 i like the front but wish it was functional rather than cosmetic Quote
gee_fin Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Hmm, I wonder if this is a slow evolution into the Robin Hood... /rumour Quote
scoobydevil Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 really like the rear and the hard "boot" cover rear lights look good is it a one off kit? gaz Quote
Blatman Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 No, it's a cost option for new kit buyers... Quote
perksy Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 really like the rear and the hard "boot" cover rear lights look good is it a one off kit? gaz Nope it's an option on the SEIW body style, Think somebody said it was an extra £250 stand to be corrected on price though Quote
scoobydevil Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 so i could fit it on my 1996 widebody then? Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 This new shape will sit next to the current models as an optional extra and is also available as an aftermarket option for existing customers who already own a SEiWide. From Westfield's press release Quote
scoobydevil Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 thanks , guess it will fit then only had the car a week and already looking for mods Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 That's the spirit; I even managed to upgrade bits of the car before I'd got it through SVA Quote
