Blatman Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I suspect they let more air in than out, especially if they're even slightly forward sloping as they appear to be... Quote
DanB Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Well, I suspect they'd work well if they vented the vent through the gaps. Otherwise, they're just redundant styling... Quote
Blatman Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Styling is never redundant But lets not get too critical of the design features, especially as Westfields aren't ever going to be aerodynamically efficient. Lets just look and wonder Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 £10k for styling? Rory's Dad Thats quite cheap compared with 20k for HERITAGE Quote
oioi Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 i like it but i would prefer if the side scoops were handed, so you only had one side depending on which engine you were running. still prefer an eleven tho Quote
Steve R Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Er, maybe I'm missing something, but where is your front number plate supposed to go? Looks as if the small mounting area below the nose intake has gone to help clearance when the bonnet/nose is lifted, but surely if you were to fit a road-legal front plate then you couldn't open the bonnet fully?! Haven't seen it in the flesh so maybe I'm wrong Steve. Quote
Blatman Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 That looks fantastic I wonder if they could be persuaded to make a narrow body version Quote
perksy Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Well, I gotta say, I think it looked fantastic! Well done Westfield! Nice to see some fresh ideas, subtly mixed with the 'traditional Westfield' lines - letting the car stand out in the seemingly overcrowded world of sevenesque cars. What Stu said Went well on the track and made a noise Quote
Martin Keene Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 That looks fantastic I wonder if they could be persuaded to make a narrow body version I can Blatman's credit card wincing from here... Quote
Blatman Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Wincing? It just let out a blood curdling scream and legged it out the back door... Quote
scott beeland Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Oh God, NURSE, I can feel it starting again... You called??? Well; actually I'd be no help as I'm a sucker for upgrades too as you well know Quote
Martin Keene Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Wincing? It just let out a blood curdling scream and legged it out the back door... Glad it's not just mine... Quote
DanB Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Er, maybe I'm missing something, but where is your front number plate supposed to go? In the usual place - behind the passenger seat... Quote
corsechris Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Saw it at Oulton but didn't much care for it's behind. Sorry. Quote
