** SOLD **

** REDUCED TO 6650 **

Spec as follows:

Engine

2.0 Zetec DOHC 16v, twin Weber 45 DCOE carbs, K+N air filters, Raceline exhaust. Low profile sump (not sure if this is a Dunnell sump). Fiesta RS1800 water pump. Immobilisor with two fobs. Around 165bhp

The engine runs beautifully. The carbs are very well balanced and idle is rock steady. The engine starts perfectly, and the choke works very well (New batttery May'04. New starter motor Jun'05 - receipts for both) My only complaint is that on very light/part throttle, there's sometimes the odd spit and stand off, so perhaps the jetting isn't 100% here.

The exhaust manifold and silencer is a new (may'04) raceline item, costing £730 - nice and quiet.

Dunnell AAE 3D engine management system with data logging/diagnostics. Shift light feature not wired in/enabled. Laptop with software included. Laptop is old and worthless, but handy as a garage workhorse (8meg ram, 256 colour screen, win95).

Transmission

5 Speed MT75 Gearbox. MT75 chassis (bellhousing in tunnel, engine further back)

3.62 XR4x4 Diff (viscous LSD), XR4x4 driveshafts and joints - fully independant suspension

Disc brakes all round (Xr4x4 rears, Cortina fronts). Just had two new calipers on the rear. Fronts fairly new too. The discs are looking a little tired but I think it's just lack of use - I've just been for a 50 mile blast and they've cleaned up a lot.

Spax gas adjustable coil-over shocks

Adjustable front anti roll bar

TSW Stealth alloys, A509 tyres, loads of tread all round. No kerbing on wheels.

Interior

Black factory carpet set, Westfield heater with open/closable vents in either footwell. Black Roadster 7 bucket seats with green piping. Black Willans harnesses with pads, Fire extinguisher. Kick stips. Chrome gear knob, Carbon fibre effect dash, VDO Gauges, Mountney 10 inch steering wheel. The interior is in good condition apart from the gearshift and handbrake gaiters, which seem to have aged much suffered/cracked with age faster than they should have done.

Full weather gear - Modern style roof with plastic fillet. Frame is good but has picked up some spots of rust where it's been rattling together over bumps. Side screens are the pre-1998 flat type, rather than having the elbow recesses.

Bodywork

Cycle wings

Lockable boot box

Removable rear arches

General condition is consistent with age and mileage apart from the nosecone. Some pillock reversed into it when parking, so the nose has a hairline crack along it, around 10 inches long, and there is some chipping at the front. I've taken some close-ups of this.

First registered November 1996.

3 Months MOT

5 Months tax

2 Former keepers

Clean car, Occasional use only, 9600 miles on the clock proven by every MOT certificate since registration. Lots of documentation and build manual included

For sale as it's only used as an occasional holiday/track day car, increasingly seldomly, and has been replaced by a slightly more sensible TVR. It's only done about 100 miles this year, and is taking up garage space.

Priced to sell at £6650. Located near Reading/Twyford, Berks. Any inspection welcome. Contact Gary - deargary at hot mail dot com / 07855 954044
