Scottish Bloke Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Bring it on punks I've got thick skin Rich that was possibly a low blow apologies mate All taken in the correct spirit Maude. No probs matey Quote
slippy Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Ok next question I sold my monster 7" head lights with a view to replacing them with some smaller jobs but if I don't get them replaced before Croft will I still be allowed to run ? Quote
Blatman Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 You may be bumped to the non road going class on the day, but it won't affect your Speed Series class points unless a SS competitor objects... Of course, it's rare for a scrutineer to actually check whether the headlights work so as long as they're fitted, chances are no-one will bother to check the wiring... Quote
slippy Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Err..... I kind of sold them already so I may be moved class but not prevented from competing Quote
Blatman Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 You probably won't be prevented from competing, but you always run the risk. If the scruters don't like it, they'll fail it so I wouldn't really want to be playing fast 'n' lose with a 50 pound part... Quote
slippy Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Yeh right like 50 notes eh? the ones form M&P are £35 a side Quote
Blatman Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I've seen them cheaper on Ebay... But alright, a 70 quid part. Seeing as you've already spent what, 400 quid on suit/helmet etc, 90odd quid on entry, fuel/travel/hotel etc etc and you want to risk not running for 70 quid, maybe less? Come on Maude get a grip...
