amc_black Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 This might me a really stupid point BUT..... A while ago I tried fitting clear lenses to my Defender.And had REAL problems. How much of a Landrover style Westfield front indicator is Landrover? Is it just the lense or is it the whole unit including bulb holder etc? Obviously if someone has fitted these successfully in the past then just ignore me, get a bargain, but I ended up paying £40 (All four corners) to go clear on the Landy and it would have beeen £72 from a main dealer. So I might be wrong as we have motorbike style indicators on our Westie so cant confirm but I just thought I would advise caution as if the whole unit is used on a Westie its sealed and the lenses will be of no use?! a4drk Posted February 21, 2006 Author Share Posted February 21, 2006 This is aimed for Westfields with the factory "Arms" (Which are £34.64 a pair) here Westfield dont sell (I think) clear indicators - only orange.... This is just a straight replacement for the orange lens. Obviously you need orange bulbs - or Silver Coated ones to get rid of the fried egg look. Big differnce.......
