tankerman24 Posted February 12, 2006 Share Posted February 12, 2006 I noticed that the bracket that adjusts the belt tension on the altenator had a crack in it, when I unbolted it I found it was cracked both sides and it fell apart.(Its a crossflow ) anybody any idea where the best place to get a replacement , scrap yard ford dealer? After a fruitless search for a replacement (well a bit of a look around) I got a bit of the relevant sized mild steel and made a new one. Sorry not to be more help.
