Tony Hughes
Deciding whether to use the supplied double sided tape or velcro to fix the carpets. Would prefer velcro but attaching it to the alum and to the carpet with a joint that's stronger than the velcro .... ?? Any thoughts? Darren B
Just re-done my carpets. I used sticky back velcro on the ali panels and then got the other half of the velcro stitched onto the carpet. Kept finding that sticky backed velcro doesn't stick very well to the back of the carpet, but ok to the ali panels. With it stitched to the carpet it doesn't keep coming off when I remove the carpet. Ian Podmore
sticky backed velcro doesn't stick very well to the back of the carpet It does if you use some contact adhesive to assist in adhesion
