peterg Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Whats all these comments about 9-5 I've bin in the Building trade since 1965 and I dont think I've ever worked 9-5 ah yes, let's see now, in my experience that'll be something like.... breakfast in the cafe just down the road from the current job from 8 - 9:30 then turn up at job around 9:45, shake head and suck through teeth for 20 minutes while contemplating starting work then say 'any chance of a cuppa?' followed by reading the paper and drinking tea...start work around 10:30 and then slope off back to the cafe about 12, return to 'work' about 2:30 'had to go and collect some materials guvnor' and then finish at 4pm Quote
