karlgurney Posted January 8, 2006 Share Posted January 8, 2006 Have less than a year in the forces and need to raise some cash to clear some loans and save for a house, the sensible thing is to let the westy go for now.......... but i will be back in the future What would i be likely to get for my car. spec 2004 widebody SEiw red 2 litre pinto (205 block) Big valve head ported and polished piper 270 cam lightened flywheel shallow sump polo rad kenlow fan catch tank 3.62 Lsd spax'd all round Currently has twin 45 webers but have all the gear to convert to megasquirt fuel and spark with gsxr 750 throttle bodies. (do i convert then sell carbs or sell as is and sell the conversion gear separatly??) Car has 14" ford alloys painted white with ZV3 avons 2 less than 100 miles 2 2000 miles sidescreens westfield sports seats willians 3 point harness's less than 3000 miles Any ideas on price, the car isn't for sale just yet but will be in a couple of months, just rebuilding the engine so it will have a re-hone new rings and main bearings. cheers Karl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That was a 1998 car 6000miles width swept wings surely Karls car is worth more than 61/2K Karl don't under sell yer motor it looks clean and tidy ask 8K for it. However, I still think that the prices mentioned by myself and Nana's are realistic..... But, if you're not in a rush, put it on the market in the Spring at £8k and, as its a pretty new build, you stand a good chance of getting close to that figure. That does indeed look a tidy car and is hardly used. Every car has a "right person" waiting in the wings somewhere. Hold out a bit for the right money.
