Can't believe the bodywork is at £250 already, I only set the reserve at £70

How easy is it to shove the rack internals into my rack?  Any special equipment needed?  Do our cases have to be the same- I thought there were different types?  I believe mine is the bigger, older type- whatever that means.

Lewey,

I'm not to sure mate, I have not had many dealings with them before, I'm sure the internal are out of the earlier type of rack though, not the later

If your rack is a genuine Escort rack, then the internals *should* fit. The easy way to tell seems to be wether the rack pinion is held in by a plate that is affixed with two bolts. If so, you are looking at an Escort rack...

Internals are not bad at all to swap. IIRC there is a fairly detailed guide on rack strip/rebuild in the Mk2 Escort Haynes manual too, should you need a helping hand along the way
