a4drk Posted November 21, 2005 Share Posted November 21, 2005 Gearbox & clutch all OK. Basically there is a hole in the casing - The conrod burst thro it. I reckon it was low on oil & this happenned. It has the baffle in the sump. The engine is from my factory built car (2001 X reg) - The engine had done 4,100 miles when this happened. New stater wheel (from the new engine) I didnt want to cut the multi plug - so i have used the old one Photos to follow.
