Steve20
Tried a search but could not find the answer. Alternator is a Bosch bought second hand but originaly supplied by Dunnel, 3 connections B+, D+ and DF Build manual states connect one brown/yellow cable to D+ and brown to B+. Sounds simple but my loom has two browns connected to a common eyelet and a single black to a second eyelet so which goes to which. Also assume DF is the equivalent of a W terminal and should therefore not have anything connected to it. Advice please
pistonbroke
I think the 2 browns are common to the battery and connect to 1 orboth of the larger terminals(dont matter which) Black is to the energising/sensing ( feed is usually from the charge lamp) connects to the smaller terminals ( again doesnt matter which ) HTH
