Hi Kerry and Steve,

Yes I was talking to various people regarding TB for 2.0L Zetecs and Vauxhalls, However after Kerry sorted this deal with Westfield, which is a very good deal. I decided not to pursue the other deal too far, because I didn't want to complicate matters even more, also most of those people who had shown an interest had the 1800 zetecs...

There is however a possible deal for those without the 1800 zetecs.

It is for 20 sets of TB's, fuel rails, and Horns. 20% discount for 20 sets, and for a small fee each a RR session for one lucky person with the others then using that map. PM me if you feel there could be enough interest in this and want to look at organising another Bulk Buy.

However I stil feel for me and the others who have gone for the great offer made by Westfield, that this is the best deal for our specific needs.

And as a result of this I would rcommned you talk to WF, perhaps you could organise another 8 people with 2.0L zetecs

Spoke with Mark today, he tells me that the package will also suit 2.0 with exception of the ECU mapping which I guess will cost another 200 quid or so for a rolling road session

Would like throttle bodies but unfortunately I'm buying a 2.0L Zetec so will have to make other arrangements

This stuff will fit a 2.0l Zetec just fine...

My knowledge is limited on Tbs etc, but for my car which is a new build and a 2.0 litre I am looking to buy the complete package including ECU for the best possible price. However, before putting a deposit down with Westfield I want to be sure that this kit will, with a remapped ECU, work.

Mark reckons it will be fine but I wold have expected 45 TBs and not the 40s,

Appreciate any advice.

I'd have expected 45's too, but we don't have a definitive answer, I don't think. Why not ask for an "upgrade" to 45's They cost the same as 40's, so I can't see why there'd be a problem..

I have looked at this in the past and noted the warnings about playing with the software before you know what you're doing

Just had a look at Easimap and think that I might just leave it to the pro's !!

Not got a clue where I would start with it.

It's something I would love to learn more about though, is it really that complicated or is it easier than it looks ?

Er, you can play with the software (isn't there a demo/dummy [not thick dummy, but rather a not a real engine dummy, dummy] mode?), just don't do it with the engine running...
