Live in Warrington...anybody interested can meet up at Burtonwood service station M62 Liverpool side around 9. Thought...quick run down to Frodsham through Delamere pick up A 49 then A534 to Wrexham. Then A 525 up on to Horse Shoe pass....get a cup of tea at Ponderossa Cafe. Then drop down on to A5 to Owestry down to A 495 and then up A49 to Warrington in time to watch Grand Prix. Decided to fix me fuel gauge to, as the tank was reading permanently full end up takin 1/2 the car to bits to get at the fuel tank sender ! All because a 4ba screw worked loose on the float lever !!! Its about 120 mile round trip.....some good roads.... followed the Police helicopter down the Horse Shoe Pass who was posing to the bikers....he was nearly upside down going around the hairpins!!!! Suggest a similar run...or from Llangollen...shoot across A5 to Anglesey for a Ice Cream and then back via Bala. Prefer the Cheshire roads and faster as 'less' policed as long as you stay away from Cat & Fiddle area or shoot further down in to Shopshire.
