MartT Posted August 23, 2005 Share Posted August 23, 2005 I went on Sunday. First time to SW. Excellent event. Went with 3 mates - 1 car each!! Travelled up Saturday night from Bristol across the old Severn bridge and then through the Forest of Dean. Great drive. Passed a sign in FoD "Road Noise" - not sure what that's all about but certainly couldn't hear anything over my own exhaust note Spitfire display was an added bonus and the course record being broken. Averaging over 84 mph up a hill with bends - nutters Alas that may have been my last trip in my Westie. It is now up for sale will be replaced with a VW camper . Unless I come into some money before it sells Next SW event is Sept 10/11 - There's a VW event at the 3 Counties in Malvern in the same weekend.
