a4gom Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 A4gom, I am on Plus Net too and the speed, according to adslguide, is pretty well what they claim. What's more, it's £14.99 a month unlimited downloads at 2meg. Can't ask better really. Every speed tester I've tried, (adslguide, BT, plusnet) all say my speed is far too low, min should be 400k/b. BT and plus net are looking into my speed, I used to be on a 150k/b dsl connection and I was getting better results on that than now on my 2mb adsl connection. Quote

I went with BT Basic package early in the year. It's only supposed to be 1Mb, but for some reason it connects at 2.3mb... and its Quote

It was then he realised what AOL stood for....a********s On Line. the indian help line is f###ing dire the broadband help line is in scotland and is great had bb with them for a few years now and have only ever had a few problems, most of them can be cured using 'self fix' which is a bit strange watching it fix itself. Impney Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Had the same issues as Scot for about a week after the increase in line speed , but has settled down now and is behaving per Quote

Baldeagle Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Using Plusnet for over two years recently upgraded to 2Mb (running at 1.9Mb actual) with no problems. Quote
jonlewis Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 I use Bulldog. No Limits and I pay £26 for a 4Mb connection, but it usually tests close to 8Mb. Put my phone with them as well and overall the cost (excluding mobiles) is £38 per month with no limits on landline calls. Quote
