Gazza Posted June 21, 2005 Share Posted June 21, 2005 by way of a general caveat when buying Type 9's (standard AND synchro str8-cut) try to check that 4th gear synchro is still sound, because its the achillies heel of these boxes especially in 'racy cars' where the owner's likely to be slamming the gears thru...
